Sprouts Story
We sprouted into existence in 2023 when Sam, an Occupational Therapist, and Kelsey, a Physical Therapist, decided to forge a new path together. Having worked side by side in the same practice, they chose to embark on a shared journey, united by a passion for making a difference in their community. Recognizing an unmet need for specialized services, they envisioned a center where children and therapists alike could feel at home. Here at Sprouts, we are committed to creating a warm and inviting space where growth, support, and collaboration flourish, ensuring that every child and family feels valued and empowered on their unique path toward progress and potential.

Samantha Smith,
Occupational Therapist

Samantha began her journey to becoming a pediatric occupational therapist when she assisted her parents teaching a Sunday school class for 3 year olds at her church. She realized that she had a passion for children and helping them to thrive. She ultimately fell in love with occupational therapy after completing observation hours at a local clinic while attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, she was accepted into the masters program for occupational therapy at the University of Central Arkansas. After graduating in 2018, she started her first job in pediatrics in Springdale, Arkansas. After practicing for 5 years, Samantha joined Kelsey to embark on opening a clinic in Fort Smith to provide essential services for the community. She lives at home with her husband, son, and 2 dogs and enjoys spending time with family, going on walks, and traveling.
Kelsey Fisher,
Physical Therapist

Kelsey began her journey to becoming a pediatric physical therapist when she had young cousins born with disabilities and saw the progress that therapies allowed the children and their families to make. She realized that she had a passion for children and helping them to thrive. After receiving her Bachelor of Health and Behavioral Science at University of Central Arkansas, she was accepted into the doctorate program for physical therapy at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar MO. After graduating in 2021, she started her first job in pediatrics in Fort Smith, Arkansas. After practicing for 1 year, Kelsey joined Samantha to embark on opening a clinic in Fort Smith to provide essential services for the community. She lives at home with her husband, daughter, 2 dogs and 2 cats. She enjoys spending time with family, going on walks, and reading.
